Protecting UHNWIs and their families

Close protection, surveillance, counter-surveillance & security driving

Close Protection

Most of the security professionals we use are former military personnel or protection officers for British royalty. This means they’re qualified to the highest possible standard. You might not have noticed them in photos at royal events, because they blend in so seamlessly with the rest of the entourage.

As our close protection officers are considered good enough to protect the late Queen Elizabeth II or the then Prince Charles, we reckon they’re good enough for anyone!

By the way, you’ll be aware that ‘executive protection’ in the US is called close protection or CP here in the UK. It’s the same thing. Discreetly making sure the principal doesn’t come to any harm.

Whether overt or covert, this role is far more sophisticated than being a basic ‘bodyguard’.

By law, our team are medically trained and hold up-to-date FREC3 or FPOS qualifications.

You’ll find they are professional, polite and unobtrusive, while being able to adapt to a hostile environment if necessary.

Also, we plan ahead by identifying potential vulnerabilities, and so reduce the risk of attack.

Surveillance

You can book our covert surveillance teams to watch a suspect for any suspicious activity, such as fraud, theft or infidelity. Importantly, our operatives are so well trained and discreet, you wouldn’t notice them on the street.

If proven, our evidence helps you build a solid case that would stand up in court.

If disproven, you get confidence and reassurance – and there will be no waste of time or legal fees on a case with no evidence.

Either way, you can relax in the knowledge that our officers are trained to UK police and government standards. This means we conduct covert or overt surveillance in a compliant, moral and ethical way, for both the corporate and the private sectors.

Counter-surveillance

Counter-surveillance is a useful way to reduce vulnerabilities. It’s where we watch the watchers, and play a key part in the overall security team.

On a job, our counter-surveillance operatives get there first, well ahead of the ‘drop zone’. As well as arriving early, they stay until the principal leaves, constantly looking out for any suspicious people or vehicles in the location, so that evasive action can be taken immediately if required.

  • Is a client unknowingly under surveillance?
  • Is a suspect doing a suspicious recce, prior to targeting the family home or its occupants and assets?
  • Is someone checking out the business as part of their plans to attack it?

We’ll find out, without anyone noticing, so action can be taken to stop the criminals before they make their move.

Security Driving

A trained security driver is more than just a chauffeur. They know how to manoeuvre a luxury limousine comfortably, and are familiar with the local roads so always know the best route to take.

To avoid emergencies, they check the traffic in advance, keep monitoring the news and social media, know how to get out of a dangerous situation fast, and even carry defibrillators on board.

When you’re making travel plans for ultra-high net worth individuals anywhere in the world, please check out Secure Ground Transportation.

Our security drivers are experienced professionals, known throughout the industry worldwide, and renowned for our friendly personal service. Oh, and for UK trips, we have our own fleet of adapted security vehicles.

We arrange air and sea travel too, by chartering private helicopters and jets as well as large sail boats and yachts. We also provide a concierge service so we can arrange anything that makes the journey more enjoyable and comfortable as well as safe.
